After completing the SRC community service program's summer internship, I was invited to work as a part-time hybrid Community Connector. I received extensive training on various lines and completed numerous related courses.

- Took on extended 211 line shifts to provide individuals with information and referrals.
- Completed additional training for previously handled lines and new lines, such as 211, Telecare, Hotline, All-hours

I worked as a part-time summer intern at Contact Services, handling 211 calls and contacting clients for the Telecare line. After a couple of weeks of training, I began taking calls. This internship was part of SRC's community summer internship program, which places applicants at various companies in the Syracuse area.

- Received basic training on the 211 and Telecare lines to assist the team in answering calls.
- Engaged with community members seeking resources and referrals.
- Completed extensive training on the agency's resources and how to utilize them to assist the community.
